Welcome to True Blood Fangfiction

You’re now entering naughty True Blood fanfiction country:  Wear high rubber boots and cheap cologne.

Welcome to my page.  Feel free to wander around.  I post stories and spiteful opinions.  I try to update both as often as I can.

I enjoy banter.  I am partial to witty banter.  I’ll settle for bawdy jokes.  I squee for bawdy, witty banter.

So, you know.  Pick your poison.

Muchas smoochas to youchas,

Heather

Welcome to the club! I’ll have to let my ladies know so we add you to the list!

TYTYTYTY for coming to WP. I missed reading your stories since I boycotted FFn Last year

  3. I’m so glad you have a page here! I’m happier than Sarah Palin when she gets a geography question right. I’m happier than Joan Rivers’s plastic surgeon. I’m happier than William Shatner with a new girdle. I’m going to play with my shiny new toy for a while and explore your site.

Thanks, Kat! I also need to stalk your site more. You’re so dang prolific, I’d need a vacation just to sit on my ass and read it all! Not that I’d complain one word, mind you. Smooches!

      • I’m feeling “anti-prolific” right now. Work has my ass in a sling and it’s doing some pretty horrible things to it right now. (Definitely not the fun kinds of things that Eric has been known to do to Sookie’s ass in PRETTY KITTY either.) Sigh. Now those I wouldn’t complain about.

You made it! Welcome to the bawdy & raunchy side! So, so happy to welcome an author of your caliber here. I, too, love honest yet spiteful opinions. And witty banter? All the better! Welcome again, and I’m going to start reading these great stories all over again!

Yay! Now I will no longer fear that suddenly Pretty Kitty has been remove by the intolerant meddling souls that seem to be intent on ruining our fun!

Yay! I’m just a fan girl of yours…but I was beginning to worry that something dire could happen to PKU…grrrrr. Sigh of relief…

Yeah, my paranoia got the best of me, too. You just never know with FFN. I was afraid I’d wake up one morning, go to my page over there, and find it totally blank. No warning, no defending my work, just poof! All gone. So a few reviewers brought me around. Yay for peer pressure! And thanks for the fangirling! I love those!

  8. lcrafts says:

That should be PK…iPad won the tug of war 😉

Just want you to know, dearest, that you are sorely missed. I know your life has changed dramatically since you first dipped your toe into the writing waters —a job, babies, etc. i hope that when things settle down, you’ll write something again……I’ll be first in line to read it –whether fandom like TB/SVM or your original works….
    Miss you! Pat

    Hi ficlit78
I was wondering if you would make your stories into PDF’s so we can read them offline. Pretty Kitty is one of my all time favourite True Blood stories and I absolutely love your smuttiness LOL. Can’t get enough of your sexy as sin Sookie and Eric moments. Insert a Roy Orbinson style rrowwww here….LOL. I hope this finds you well and please please please on the PDF’s. Also I hope that crazy twit that’s targeting writers of adult content gets sorted out by FF, although I doubt they will do anything about her. People like that make me sick. You’ve got my backing and if you ever need a comment or something written in regards to your writing, or any adult styled stories, I will be glad to help.
    Cheers
    Nedbella ( Angela )

  21. Ok, not sure how to start this, but your writing and how it has saved me this week is the reason I love the internet, the universe, my sometimes broken but never completely gone, faith in the innate goodness of people. How, you may ask? Well, I have been a total freaking mess since I dove headfirst into TB two weeks ago and the books, oh the books! Until at least, Ms. Harris f*cked me in the head with this weird need of hers to keep Sookie and Eric from finding happiness together. So, yeah, I fell in love with S and E and was just…bereft (yeah, that’s the word) when their story got kicked to the curb so abruptly by both HBO and Ms. Harris. I had trouble sleeping, I was ignoring my job, and my family? Well, they know I’m addicted to stories and would eventually resurface, but, I admit that they seemed a tad worried earlier this week.
Until that is, I dug into FF and found your work. Yeah and well, it saved my sanity. Your stories fit perfectly with what I didn’t even know I’d been hoping for.
You wrote the story that should have been in both the books and the show, and it has settled my itchy, fiery brain’s need to reconcile what the hell happened to this lovely lovely couple. Sam?! I mean, he’s a nice guy but…Sam?!
You do know that you write like a house on fire, right? You have a gift. Sounds corny, but that sums it up. So, I’ll stick with corny yet totally true
Not sure why this affected me so deeply but I suspect that me being a total sci-fi/supernatural whore plus being married for almost 26 years to an Eric – he’s not a blond Sheriff Northman , more like he could have totally been the dude who made Northman’s swords, as in biceps and hands, oh my! – it just made my brain so happy.
    So, thank you.
    thank you!
Teresa from Central North Carolina, USA
p.s. when you get time, could you please fix Supernatural?

    • ficlit78 says:

Thank you so much for your note. I’m like you, I was deeply, personally disappointed by the whole E/S reality in the show (I didn’t read the books and never plan to). It made me very blue, even while I was happening while it was unfolding. It took a horrifying turn and I never forgave the writers for screwing them in such a baffling, needless way. Writing was my only solace. I’m glad it helped you too. And while I don’t watch Supernatural I’m sure you’ll find another writer in ff the scratches that itch.
      Heather

      • How-do Heather,
That is the perfect way to explain the way I felt. About the SVM series, I will only suggest that if you DO choose to read the books, you can leave off mid-point. She doesn’t wreck the train until about that point. She just handles certain characters really, really nicely, and has a deft touch with certain themes. I prefer her version of certain characters, such as Claudine.
I hope you keep writing when you have the time. The work/family treadmill can be grinding sometimes, uh, years (speaking from experience here, ha ha), but you really have a style all your own and hope to one day read more of your work. Perhaps there is a series lurking in your head somewhere? I’d buy your books in a heartbeat!
Anyhoo, won’t go back and forth with you ad infinitum.
        Cheers!
        Teresa

You and your writing talents are missed, Dearest Heather –I know how your life has changed over these last few years and my greatest wish is that you are happy, whole, fulfilled, etc., etc. I know…sloppy, sentimental BS –but I truly mean it!
Hope when the kiddos are a bit older you’ll sit in front of the keyboard again and thrill us all once more!

    • ficlit78 says:

Aw, I miss you guys too, Pat. I was sad to see the awards won’t be taking place this year. I fear out beloved fandom is starting to fade now that the book series and tv show ended a few years ago. I think about writing every day, funnily enough. But everything’s different now. Full time job and two little boys. I don’t know how kjwrit and EricIzMine ever managed to write with that schedule, but I lack the talent. But who knows? Maybe someday the bug will bite me again. It often threatens to.
      Heather

      • askarsgirl says:

Sweetie you are definitely NOT lacking in talent! Time perhaps, but talent? Fuck no!! Never ever question that! I just reread Pretty Kitty, again, and it blows me away.
        Every. Single. Time.
The last two paragraphs have me crying like a baby!
You and kjwrit write the very best Eric pov’s. Absolutely hilarious and downright dirty. Exactly how I love him!
Miss you much, but thankful I’ll always have your stories to come back to😃

  23. lilydragonsblood says:

It’s been a while since I re-read any of your stories so I’m really looking forward to re-re-reading your stories. I’m especially thrilled to be reminded of your version of Eric, the one I love the very most. x

  24. duckbutt60 says:

Still missing you –now that your boys are getting older, any chance they can give their mom some “alone time” to write? 🙂
